U.S. Gov’t Eyes Blockchain As a Travel Solution

Experts discussed the use of blockchain in travel with respect to biometric tracking and facial comparison at the JetBlue Technology Ventures Blockchain in Travel Summit in New York City. So reports Skift.

Some are concerned though that a lack of standardization could be a roadblock to the secure sharing of information between governments. Corporate representatives at the summit discussed some of the other uses for blockchain, with technologists and investors exploring the technology’s profitability and potential for improving the travel sector.
