Anthem Looks to Blockchain for Patient Data Security

Health insurance giant Anthem said it is now looking to blockchain as a way to help patients access and share medical data securely. So reports Forbes.

The pilot program is set for largescale use in the coming months. Anthem’s 40 million members will be able to access the feature in the next three years. Using blockchain, the company says, will allow patients to better control who sees their medical records and determine how long access to them is granted.
