Gartner, a tech analytics firm, said 75% of organizations measured have implemented, or are planning to do so in the next year, an integration of blockchain and the Internet of Things. So reports Tech Republic.
Extrapolating out another year, that number jumps to 89%. Companies said the chief reason for the integration is “increased security and trust in shared multiparty transactions and data.” Increased revenue and new business opportunities were among the other reasons cited.
