The Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority announced it used blockchain technology to inject liquidity into local banks. So reports The Block.

The bank also experimented with the technology last year after it launched a digital currency project in conjunction with UAE’s central bank. It also partnered with Ripple to help banks improve payment infrastructure.
