Apple Pay VP Offers Rare Insight Into Company’s Crypto Plans

Apple Pay vice president Jennifer Bailey said the company is “watching cryptocurrency” and thinks it “has interesting long-term potential.” So reports Coindesk.

Earlier this year, Apple submitted a Securities and Exchange Commission filing showing the company has a growing interest in blockchain technology. Although Bailey’s public comments were vague with respect to the company’s plans, there is speculation the company may have a more specific agenda being hashed out behind closed doors.
