North Korea is developing its own cryptocurrency, hoping it will help the country circumvent international sanctions. So reports Vice.
There has been a growing interest in digital currency as the country recently brought together a number of experts during its first-ever cryptocurrency and blockchain summit in April. The new currency will be similar to Bitcoin, but does not have a name yet.
