Analytics company Coin Metrics reported one-fifth of all available bitcoin went untouched for at least five years. So reports Decrypt.

There is about 3.9 billion bitcoin, valued at close to $30 billion as of press time, “lying around unused.” That number has been steadily rising since 2015 and is now the highest ever. Some of the money may be inaccessible, as wallets may have been forgotten about or lost.
