Ripple CEO Reacts to YouTube Impersonators Trying to Steal Crypto

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse took to Twitter to rip into the cyber thieves who allegedly created a phony YouTube account hoping to sucker viewers into an XRP “giveaway scam.” So reports the Daily HODL.

cryptocurrency 3424779 640smallAs such, Ripple has hired an external cybersecurity firm as well as a “digital threat intelligence vendor” in response to the recent foul play. Additionally, another scheme saw approximately 1.4 million XRP stolen using a Google Chrome extension.
