New 'Anubis' Malware Targets Crypto Wallets, Public Info Scarce

Anubis, a new type of malware, has been unleashed after its sale on the “cybercrime dark markets,” per Microsoft Security Intelligence. So reports Coindesk.

cryptocurrency ledger 3424623 640Anubis uses “forked code” from the Loki malware and is capable of stealing cryptocurrency wallet identifications, credit card information, system info and other data. Notably, the new malware is separate from another family of Android-targeted banking malware using the same name.
