The pair will be taking applications for a trust to be developed in India and Africa and are seeking three new board members. While not expecting to actively manage the fund, Dorsey and Jay Z will be investing approximately $23 million worth of Bitcoin into the project.
The move comes amid a surge in Bitcoin’s value and as a number of other organizations have recently throw their support behind the digital asset.
