Spotlight: LendIt Fintech USA 2022 Conference Brings Big Names to Big Apple

The fintech networking and conference docket is again replete with gatherings taking place all over the globe. As the growing space continues to evolve, so too do the myriad networking events hosted by industry principals.

One such event is the upcoming LendIt Fintech USA 2022 conference taking place on Wednesday, May 25 and Thursday, May 26 at the Javits Center in New York City. According to the organizers, the event is the largest of its kind to take place in the Big Apple each year. This year, the event boasts 255 sponsors, 350 speakers and more than 4,000 attendees. It is aimed at addressing a continuously changing financial landscape.

“Like much of the economy today, financial services is experiencing a rapid upheaval. We are seeing a multi-decade transformation where fintech will take center stage as everything becomes digital,” according to the event’s organizers. Each year, in addition to the New York conference, LendIt also offers events in Miami and London.

“LendIt Fintech USA is dedicated to fostering meaningful connections, celebrating the women paving the path forward, and helping the next generation of female fintech leaders succeed,” according to promotional materials.

Women in Fintech kicks off at noon and is planned to run to 2:30 p.m.

Additionally, the broader conference will feature a number of notable keynote speakers. Those speakers include representatives from fintechs and legacy financial institutions alike. Among them are:

  • Chris Britt, co-Founder and CEO at Chime

Additionally, LendIt is offering a new Cryptonexus workshop ahead of the conference at The Knickerbocker Hotel on Monday, May 23 and Tuesday, May 24.

“Cryptonexus is a one-day interactive workshop developed by Fintech Nexus and BanklessDAO to enable financial service and fintech professionals to move from crypto-curious to crypto-capable, safely & confidently,” says the organization. “Advances in blockchain technologies have created new opportunities, challenges and threats to traditional banking organizations and fintechs alike. It is critical for financial service and fintech executives to understand the power of the blockchain, how to use crypto tools, and how to navigate the Web3 landscape to build a better financial future. Cryptonexus helps bridge this gap.”
