Buffet's Berkshire Hathaway Makes Foreign Fintech Play

Bucking tradition, Berkshire Hathaway recently invested approximately $600 million in two emerging foreign Fintech companies, StoneCo and Paytm. So reports CNBC.

The companies, India's biggest mobile payment service and a Brazilian pay processor, respectively, both "dominate" their market. The investments came at the direction of Todd Combs, who has a background in payments. He will sit on the Paytm board in the wake of Berkshire's investment.
