FinTech Funding Set to Shatter Record

The first half of 2018 netted $57.9 billion in funding for Fintechs, approaching the record $62.5 billion they took in in all of 2015. So reports Business Insider.

The relative success and sustainability of their business model has attracted larger funding rounds and, as such, investor confidence is also on the rise. Conventional financial firms are also now more likely to invest in fintech, further bolstering their coffers.
