Conflicting Fintech Reports Issued Ahead of G-20

As regulators prepare for the G-20 meeting, central bankers and finance ministers are divided on how to mitigate the risks and reap the rewards of fintechs amid conflicting advice. So reports Roll Call.

The regulators who make up the international Financial Stability Board prepared separate reports with respect to decentralized technology and cryptocurrency. The reports “failed to reach consensus on the best approaches.” The G-20 summit will take place in Japan in late June.
