Hacker Accused of Stealing $1.7M in Cryptos

Eliyahu Gigi from Tel Aviv, Israel, has been accused of stealing $1.7 million in Bitcoin, Dash, Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies from investors. So reports The Next Web.

He is facing charges of "theft, fraud, aggravated counterfeiting, use of a forged document, perjury, money laundering, and income tax offenses," according to the article. Gigi's younger brother was also arrested for allegedly participating in the scam.
