Female Fintech Founders Get Dedicated Studio in NYC

Early-stage fintech investment company Anthemis teamed up with Barclays, a bank and service provider, to create a Female Innovators Lab based in New York. So reports Fast Company.

The lab will be a startup studio dedicated to facilitating investments in female fintech founders. “The lab will make an initial pre-seed investment in each founder, though the amount will vary depending on the person and business; portfolio companies would also be considered for subsequent rounds of funding,” according to the story. Katie Palencsar, founder and CEO of Unbound Concepts, will head the initiative.
