JPMorgan Invests in Fintechs Aimed at Low-income Americans

JPMorgan Chase & Co is planning to invest $25 million in fintechs geared toward servicing low-income individuals. So reports Reuters.

The company's head of global philanthropy, Karen Keogh, said the investment could help communities like New York City's Harlem neighborhood. The company is betting support for finance apps and meeting spaces in its branches will help create new customers in those areas.
