Alleged Cryto-scam Leads to Social Media Influencer’s Arrest

Self-proclaimed “serial entrepreneur, mentor, influencer, and philanthropist” Aziz ‘Com’ Mirza has been arrested for allegedly defrauding investors through, among other things, a real estate-backed cryptocurrency once described as the “Bitcoin of the Middle East.” So reports TNW.

The Canadian living in Dubai was arrested after a United Arab Emirates resident said they lost more than $150,000 as a result of one of his alleged schemes. Mirza claimed he ran companies in the technology, automotive, media and luxury rental industries, as well.
