'Kryp+0 K!ng' Charged in 'Scam' Taking Millions from Investors, ex- MLB Players

A complaint from Arizona federal court alleges the self-proclaimed “Kryp+0 K!ng” and his partners ripped off more than 100 investors, for millions of dollars. Some of the alleged victims are former MLB players, who were not named. So reports Quartz.

road sign 464653 640 smallAccording to the complaint, at least $7.5 million was invested in the purported fraudulent scheme, taking place over 18 months. As a result of the allegations, the U.S. Secret Service arrested John Michael Caruso, the founder of Zima Digital Assets, and aspiring singer Zachary Salter, who co-founded Zima. Both live lavish lifestyles prosecutors claim are evidence they did not use the investments lawfully.
