Korea’s POSTECH Using Blockchain to Distribute Diplomas as Coronavirus Wreaks Havoc

South Korea’s Pohang University of Science and Technology is going to issue blockchain-stored diplomas in lieu of a traditional graduation ceremony amid fears of the coronavirus. So reports The Block Crypto.

coronavirus 4817450 640 smallThe school’s 828 new graduates will get emails featuring QR codes that will link to their respective diplomas. Previously, the university used a similar tactic in June when it issued blockchain certificates to graduates of a blockchain CEO course.
