Enigma to Pay $500K in Settlement Over 2017 ICO

Blockchain company Enigma agreed to settle with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission regarding a 2017 initial coin offering (ICO). So reports The Block.

Regulators determined, though, the tokens were improperly classified and accused Enigma of the “unregistered offering of securities,” according to the article. The company agreed to a $500,000 penalty and will inform investors they can reclaim their funds.
