Deals, Investments Way Down in 2019: Report

Despite a decade of rapid growth, fintech saw a steep drop from 2018 to 2019, according to a recent report from Crunchbase. So reports Vator.

arrow 1435215 640 smallLast year, $42.6 billion, across 3,423 deals, was invested in the fintech area. That’s down more than 25% and 22% respectively. To put those numbers in perspective, though, 2019 was still the second biggest year for such transactions behind only a monster 2018.
