Top Fintechs Surpass $1T Market Cap: Report

The market cap of payment companies PayPal, Visa, Square and MasterCard have topped $1 trillion collectively, making them worth more than the “big six” banks. So reports CNBC.

MastercardThe banks—JPMorgan, Bank of America, Citigroup, Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs—are worth just less than $900 billion in comparison. A big chunk of those gains for the payment firms have come this year as investors have turned to software-based tech companies during the global pandemic.
