Australia Looking to Blockchain to Combat Cyber Bullying

Julie Inman Grant, Australia’s eSafety commissioner, is suggesting the use of blockchain-backed tech to combat internet “trolling” and cyber abuse. So reports Cointelegraph.

australia 2270790 640Grant said a “blockchain-powered ID solution” might be able to allow users to maintain anonymity while also aiding law enforcement agencies in instances they must intervene. “The use of blockchain technology to develop digital ID solutions is being trialed by companies in numerous countries around the world including Japan, Korea, U.S., and China,” according to the article.
