Fintech Start-up MX Adds Huge Names to Its Board

Ex-Goldman Sachs co-president Jon Winkelried is among some industry heavyweights that joined data firm MX’s board of directors. So reports CNBC.

MXThe company, which some believe may be heading toward an initial public offering sometime in the near future, is also adding Derek Zanutto, general partner at Alphabet’s private equity fund CapitalG and Mike Zappert of TPG Growth.

“Like Plaid, whose $5.3 billion acquisition by Visa collapsed recently, MX helps banks connect to fintech firms using software known as application programming interfaces,” according to the article.
