Merriam-Webster’s NFT Auction Stunning Display of Meta Word Play

Merriam-Webster is auctioning off the NFT of the definition of NFT, which stands for non-fungible token.

Merriam WebsterMerriam-Webster NFT definition is as follows: “NON-FUNGIBLE TOKEN: a unique digital identifier that cannot be copied, substituted, or subdivided, that is recorded in a blockchain, and that is used to certify authenticity and ownership (as of a specific digital asset and specific rights relating to it).”

Proceeds from the auction will support Teach For All, a global network of organizations working to provide educational opportunities for children.
