To that end, Financial Services Chairwoman Maxine Waters said she has found herself in rare agreement with her Republican counterpart Rep. Blaine Luetkemeyer over reigning in a practice that allows the third-party aggregators to access and share data across payment apps, bank accounts and other services. Bipartisan legislation could be on the horizon in light of that agreement, added Waters.
