Americans Now Using Fintech At Higher Rate Than Social Media, Streaming Services: Plaid Report

A new report from Plaid shows the use of fintech has now reached what it is calling “mass adoption.” So reports Fortune.

PlaidThe report cites the COVID-19 pandemic as part of the reason online payment, banking and investing services have grown so fervently, and it notes 88% of all customers in the U.S. are now using fintech in some form. This means more Americans are using fintech than video-streaming services and social media, which are used at 78% and 72%, respectively.
