Seattle Fintech Taking on Banks Boasts Some Big Backers

Seattle startup Seashell recently enjoyed a $6 million seed funding round with some notable names behind it. So reports GeekWire.

seashellThe funding round was led by Kindred Ventures and Khosla Ventures and featured Mark Cuban as well as Robinhood co-founder Vlad Tenev. The company plans to offer its users up to a 10% interest rate by investing in “safe haven assets” like those pegged to the dollar and gold.
