Jesse Powell Out As Chief Exec at Kraken

Jesse Powell is stepping down from his role as chief executive of Kraken amid regulatory scrutiny and an apparently diminishing relationship with the company’s employees. So reports The New York Times

Kraken, a cryptocurrency exchange, has been under fire from the Treasury Department for alleged violations of U.S. sanctions as well as for controversial comments Powell made about gender and race issues. Dave Ripley, the company’s chief operating officer, will fill Powell’s role.
