Getty Worried About Bottom Line, Kicks AI-generated Images to the Curb

Getty Images has nixed the sale and upload of all illustrations generated with AI tools such as Stable Diffusion, Midjourney and DALL-E. So reports The Verge.

The move, said the company’s CEO Craig Peters, addressed “concerns about the legality of AI-generated content and a desire to protect the site’s customers.” Other sites have enacted similar bans including PurplePort, FurAffinity and Newgrounds.
