Eco-conscious TreeCard Raises $23M in New Funding Round

With the help of Peter Thiel’s Valar Ventures, climate-conscious digital cash app TreeCard raised $23 million in its latest funding round. So reports CNBC.

The firm, founded in 2020 by British entrepreneur Jamie Cox, uses 80% of its profits to help plant trees through a partnership with Ecosia. The money management platform offers users a unique debit card made from wood.
