Chainalysis Report Highlights Massive Spike in N. Korean Crypto Crime

North Korean-linked hackers contributed to a record-setting $3.8 billion worth of stolen cryptocurrency last year, according to a new report from analytics firm Chainalysis. So reports CNN.

The $3.8 billion represents a jump from the $3.3 billion lifted in 2021, notes the analysis. North Korea hackers were responsible for an estimated $1.7 billion in the crypto stolen last year, more than triple what they allegedly took in the year prior.
