Digital Banking Still On the Fringe of Mainstream: New Survey

A new consumer study indicates about one-quarter of consumers used a digital bank, neobank or fintech with banking services within the last year. So reports PYMNTS.

The survey results, which exclude Venmo and PayPal users, also indicated only 10% of those asked reported using a digital bank as their primary account provider. Despite the lack of usage, interest in digital banking services appears to be trending up as 39% of those asked said they believe digital banking can be “viable alternatives” to traditional banks.
