Australia, Philippines Enter Fintech Agreement As Nations Begin Strategic Partnership

The Philippines and Australia have entered into a partnership aimed at promoting investment and trade in the fintech space. So reports Crowdfund Insider.

To that end, a memorandum of understanding formalizing the partnership was penned by Lito Villanueva of the FinTech Alliance.ph and Australian Trade and Investment Commission General Manager for Southeast Asia Mukund Narayanamurti. The deal comes in the immediate wake of a broader agreement between the two nations to enter into a Strategic Partnership as designed by their respective heads of state.
