The UK’s Financial Conduct Authority is considering proposing a ban on “financial instruments linked to digital cryptocurrencies.” So reports The Guardian.

The market regulators have warned the products may yield massive losses to customers, especially small investors, who do not understand their value or risks. It is expected the Financial Conduct Authority will heavily scrutinize Facebook’s planned Libra cryptocurrency.
