Dubai’s VARA Seeks to Provide Clarity in the Metaverse

The Virtual Assets Regulatory Authority in Dubai, which regulates cryptocurrency activity in the UAE city, announced new regulations governing digital assets and combating “illicit financial activities in virtual space.” So reports the AL-Monitor.

Among the topics addressed include borrowing and lending services, investor confidence and market growth. Among the chief reasons for the guidance, notes officials in the UAE, is providing clarity with respect to companies engaged in metaverse-related business.
