Purchasing Power Buys Tech Assets of DoubleNet Pay

Purchasing Power, an Atlanta-based "employee purchase voluntary benefit program" company, bought the software assets of DoubleNet Pay Inc. So reports the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

The deal closed in late September and the details are undisclosed. DoubleNet Pay created a platform to allow employees to contribute part of their checks to a fund for "unexpected expenses and upcoming bills." Purchasing Power plans to use the assets to augment its existing services.
