Value Technology Foundation, a U.S. think tank, issued a report co-authored by a number of high-profile tech companies highlighting blockchain's benefits to the Department of Defense. So reports Decrypt.

blockchain 3438501 1920Among those credited with co-writing the repot are IBM, Accenture, Amazon Web Services, Deloitte, and CGI Federal, as well as ConsenSys, Colvin Run Networks and SIMBA Chain. The report highlights, for example, “the benefits of multi-factor authentication, how smart contracts could aid with secure communications for the US Space Force, and how blockchain-authenticated fighter jet parts could be 3D-printed on US Navy carriers to cut down on costs and repair times,” according to the article.
