EU Computers Looking for COVID-19 Vaccine 'Cryptojacked'

European supercomputers tasked with finding a COVID-19 vaccine were hijacked to mine cryptocurrency. So reports Coindesk.

The hackers used stolen remote access credentials from people authorized to use the machines. Confirmed incidents took place in the U.K., Switzerland and Germany.
