Amid Economic Downturn, Plaid Cuts 260 Jobs

Fintech giant Plaid will be laying off approximately 20% of its employees with engineering and recruiting teams expected to feel the brunt of the downsizing. So reports TechCrunch.

The layoffs are expected to impact 260 workers and come in the wake of rapid expansion at the company. The engineering team at Plaid grew more than 17 times in four years. Leadership at the company identified macroeconomic shifts as the need for the layoffs.
